Connemara - One of the last unspoilt areas of Ireland, from the rugged Twelve Bens mountain range in the north through lake-rich Roundstone Bog to the golden beaches reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean.
The proprietor Bernadette is also an established artist in her own right. Many of her works are on display in her home and guests are encouraged to ask her about her work.
Other Activities: A day out in Salthill Salthill is very close to Abbeyville Barna and has plenty to offer, you can go for a swim or use the gym in Leisureland, enjoy a walk along the seafront on the promenade and why not visit the National Aquarium.
Mountain Biking
Bring your mountain bike and visit the Derroura Mountain Bike Trail, the 14 km long track is located approx 7.km west of Oughterard. The trail offers incredible mountain biking in some of the most spectacular scenery in connemara. Visit Site
