Salthill is very close to Abbeyville Barna and has plenty to offer, you can go for a swim or use the gym in Leisureland, enjoy a walk along the seafront on the promenade and why not visit the National Aquarium. 

Mountain Biking
Bring your mountain bike and visit the Derroura Mountain Bike Trail, the 14 km long track is located approx 7.km west of Oughterard. The trail offers incredible mountain biking in some of the most spectacular scenery in connemara. Visit Site
