"Arrived on their doorstep looking for a room for the night. Took one look and knew it was for me. Stayed 4 nights and then came back for another 4 last week. Bernadette and Tony were fantastic. Friendly and welcoming, and great craic. The breakfasts were excellent, home baked bread fresh every day, scones, fresh fruit salad (not your tinned stuff) and Bernadette went out of her way to help guests. I heard her on the phone organising bookings and activities - all with a smile and no extra charge! Fantastic! Highly recommended. I am from New Zealand and have travelled extensively, and this is the best. Try it - you wont be disappointed. Thanks guys for a great stay." 16 Oct 2010

"The service at Abbeyville was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Though the location was outside of Galway, it was close enough to taxi to. There was an excellent restaurant within walking distance and was recommended to us by the host. She also sent us to a very good bar in Galway where we had a great time. We best liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the host." 22 Oct 2010

Bernadette and Tony were hospitable and helpful. To be honest, they were our favorite hosts throughout our trip in Ireland. The BB itself was clean and inviting.
